Il post di qualche mese fa sull’esperienza di scrittura in iPad ha bisogno d’essere aggiornato. Ci sono troppi nuovi arrivi. iOS5, iCloud, tastiere Bluetooth, applicazioni varie. Quasi tutte le categorie che avevo elencato nel vecchio post (poeti, scrittori, giornalisti online e tradizionali, blogger, ghostwriter eccetera) traggono vantaggio dalle novità e fanno un passo avanti. Vediamo come.

The iPhone4s is not enough. Not anymore. And not this time. Apple needs to make a step forward. Towards evolution and human rights. Towards recognizing labour rights in the southeastern plants of China. “Designed in California by Apple / Assembled in China”: the formula doesn’t fit anymore.

Back in the old days I didn’t join the Apple fan club. I didn’t like its “elite aura”. Besides, in the 80’s and 90’s I was too young and poor to afford Apple prices. But, for me, everything changed with the “I” revolution. In the 00’s, iPod, iPhone and iPad won me over, and now I couldn’t imagine a single day in my life without using them. What I do most of the time is writing (in italian, because I’m italian). So here’s my humble homage to Steve Jobs: a post about writing with the iPad.

Valutazione: scarso. L’iPad non è molto amichevole nei confronti della maggior parte dei cms in circolazione. Com’è noto il suo sistema operativo rifiuta applicazioni flash e javascript. Al giornalista digitale non resta che incrociare le dita.
